Training

A comprehensive 10-day technical training program was successfully completed in the Netherlands under the collaboration between PanTerra Geoconsultants (Country Representative Consolidated Services Limited) and Sylhet Gas Fields Limited (SGFL). PanTerra, a well-established Dutch subsurface research and consultancy institution known for its expertise in reservoir characterization, PVT and core analysis, had earlier signed a contract with SGFL to carry out PVT and Core laboratory analysis for the KTL-8 well in Bangladesh. As part of this project, four technical professionals(Honorable Managing Director, General Manager (P&D), Deputy Manager (Geology) from SGFL & General Manager (Administration) from Petrobangla traveled to the Netherlands to participate in an intensive, hands-on training program designed to enhance their understanding of advanced reservoir evaluation techniques. The program covered a broad range of topics, including modern laboratory procedures, interpretation of pressure–volume–temperature behavior of reservoir fluids, workflow for core sampling and analysis, quality control practices, and integration of laboratory results into reservoir modeling.
